WordPress Expert

As a Senior WordPress Developer at Nethority, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites and applications. Your role will involve developing complex WordPress plugins, themes, and blocks, as well as contributing to the improvement of the Engineering discipline through mentorship and thought leadership. You will drive the technical vision of large projects and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. You will leverage your expertise in WordPress architecture, theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization to solve complex problems in simple ways. Your ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, engage effectively with clients, and lead technical discussions will be crucial to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop complex WordPress plugins, themes, and blocks. - Drive the technical vision of large projects in collaboration with key stakeholders. - Contribute to the improvement of the Engineering discipline through mentorship and thought leadership. - Leverage WordPress APIs and extend the WordPress admin experience. - Engage meaningfully with clients, lead demos, and drive technical discussions. - Test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms in a local testing environment. - Deploy changes to live servers. Skills Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end development. - Project-level leadership experience, including leading a team of engineers to solve complex problems. - Expertise in PHP, JavaScript, React.js, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and Git. - Experience building custom blocks in WordPress. - Proficiency in setting up local environments and debugging performance and caching issues. - Proficient in verbal and written English (an added advantage).,
