Job Description

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, with a strong understanding of web development technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain WordPress websites according to client specifications.
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and user experience.
Optimize website performance and ensure high-quality user experience across all devices.
Implement and manage website security measures to protect against breaches and malware.
Collaborate with designers and other developers to create cohesive and user-friendly websites.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites and plugins.
Stay updated with the latest web development trends and WordPress updates.

Skills and Qualifications

Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong experience with WordPress CMS and its various themes and plugins.
Knowledge of MySQL and database management related to WordPress.
Familiarity with responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
