WordPress Developer (Shopify)

You will be responsible for designing and developing custom WordPress themes from scratch or modifying existing themes to meet client specifications. The primary focus will be on building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify themes and templates according to client requirements. This will involve coding in languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify's proprietary language, Liquid. Additionally, you will create custom plugins to enhance the functionality of WordPress websites based on project needs. Customizing existing WordPress themes and plugins to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality will also be part of your role. You will implement responsive and cross-browser compatible designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery. Furthermore, you will utilize PHP and MySQL for developing custom functionalities, managing databases, and handling server-side tasks. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred). You should have proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful Shopify projects. A portfolio showcasing WordPress projects and code samples is essential. Proficiency in popular WordPress page builders such as Element or Beaver Builder is required. Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress websites is a plus. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language) is necessary. Familiarity with WordPress multisite configurations will be beneficial.
