As an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites and plugins. - Customizing themes and templates to meet client requirements. - Ensuring website performance, speed, and security. - Performing regular website updates, including WordPress core, themes, and plugins. - Debugging and troubleshooting website issues reported by clients or team members. - Collaborating with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing designs. - Creating and modifying pages and layouts using Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders. - Optimizing websites for SEO and performance using best practices. - Assisting in integrating APIs and third-party services with WordPress sites. - Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. The ideal candidate should have the following skill sets/experience: - Proficiency in WordPress core functionalities, basic custom theme and plugin development, and customization. - Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools. - Site creation using ACF without any page builder. - WooCommerce and its customization. - Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Good communication skills in written, verbal, and understanding. - Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL for WordPress customizations. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. - Understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress. - Ability to debug and troubleshoot common WordPress errors. - Knowledge of WordPress themes, widgets, and shortcodes. - Basic knowledge of REST API integration. - Knowledge of popular WordPress security and optimization plugins. - Experience with WordPress Multisite setup and management. - Basic understanding of graphic design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Photoshop. - Experience with website performance optimization tools like GTmetrix or Google PageSpeed Insights. - Knowledge of accessibility and WCAG compliance standards. - Basic knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS. - Understanding of JSON and AJAX for dynamic interactions. - Previous experience in hosting management and DNS configurations. - Bonus: Knowledge and experience in Shopify development.
