Job description

Responsibilities

 Programming, developing, website coding, and producing data-driven web

applications, websites using WordPress and WooCommerce

 Develop WordPress and WooCommerce websites which are fully functional and

responsive.

 Building WordPress/Woocommerce websites using the best practice de-facto standard

plugins.

 Creation of custom themes, plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress

coding standards.

 Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code.

Requirements

 Strong experience with custom WordPress theme development, including

accommodating full user editability, complex layouts, and plugins that require theme

customization

 Important to have the ability to create complex theme setups from scratch

 Experience creating custom themes for use with WooCommerce

 Handson with various common place and proven plugins such as: Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, The Events Calendar, s2Member, BuddyPress

 Experience with creating custom WordPress/WooCommerce plugins is MUST

 Thorough understanding of custom post types and taxonomies

 Excellent knowledge of basic PHP and MySQL

 Excellent knowledge of HTML5/XHTML, XML, AJAX, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS3

 Excellent knowledge of WooCommerce and WordPress

 Experience with responsive design without dependence on frameworks

 An understanding of front-end optimization techniques

 Knowledge of Magento CMS is a plus

Job responsibilities

 Plan, design, code, and develop data-driven and responsive e-commerce websites

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects successfully

 Stay abreast of e-commerce development latest trends and best practices

 Implement SEO best practices and optimize the web pages for better ranking,

conversions, leads, and sales

 Integrate e-commerce solutions into WordPress websites

 Research and implement new functionalities in the applications

Minimum requirements

 Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent

experience)

 At least 3+ years of experience in WooCommerce and WordPress development

(rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)

 Proficiency in PHP, WooCommerce, Wordpress, MySQL, and AJAX

 In-depth experience in WordPress, WooCommerce development and plugin Creation

 Expertise in database integration and code optimisation

 Hands-on knowledge in responsive web design techniques

 High-level proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

 Strong grasp of English language for effective communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
