WLAN Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WLAN Developer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing WLAN firmware and drivers in compliance with IEEE 802.11 standards. The role involves working on wireless connectivity stacks, protocol layers, and integrating WLAN solutions into embedded or mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and optimize WLAN firmware and driver components based on IEEE 802.11 (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) standards.

Develop and maintain wireless connectivity stacks and protocol layers (MAC, PHY).

Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate WLAN solutions into embedded systems or mobile platforms such as Android and Linux.

Analyze and resolve wireless performance issues, latency, and interference.

Support test and validation efforts using tools such as Wireshark, protocol analyzers, and signal generators.

Debug and troubleshoot wireless communication issues in complex environments.

Stay updated with evolving WLAN technologies, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

Strong programming skills in C/C++.

Hands-on experience in Linux kernel, device driver development, and networking subsystems.

In-depth knowledge of wireless standards including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax.

Familiarity with open-source Wi-Fi stacks such as Hostapd and wpa_supplicant.

Proficiency with wireless debugging and analysis tools (Wireshark, Omnipeek, etc.).

Solid understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.
