Wireline Field Engineer (Pump down Plug-n-perf Specialist)

As a Wireline Engineer at our vertically integrated Oil & Gas operating company in India, you will be responsible for hands-on pump-down plug & perf operations for long horizontal wells. Your expertise in leading jobs from gun loading to final plug set in multi-stage completions without third-party support will be crucial for success in this role. With a minimum of 10-12 years of experience, including at least 5 years in pump-down plug-n-perf operations, you will play a key role in our projects located onshore in India. You will be working with an in-house team and tools, including Hunting Titan addressable control fire switches, Baker-10 Setting Tool, 15K Pressure Control Equipment, explosives from OWEN Oil Tools, Warrior Acquisition System, and Benchmark Measuring Head System. Your experience should include troubleshooting various issues such as plug pre-set before target depth, setting tool malfunctions, wellbore cleaning challenges, and gun firing failures. Your core responsibilities will include conducting thorough pre-job checklists, precise inspections, and implementing corrective actions to ensure flawless job execution. You should be well-versed in the service, operation, and troubleshooting of BST-10 setting tools and capable of handling gun arming, explosive safety, and control fire switching. Additionally, you will be expected to lead on-site crews, prepare procedures and checklists, and share lessons learned for smoother wireline plug-n-perf operations. In this role, you will take full ownership of the job without relying on any service company support.
