As a Wireline Engineer at our vertically integrated Oil & Gas operating company in India, you will be responsible for hands-on pump-down plug & perf operations for long horizontal wells. Your expertise in leading jobs from gun loading to final plug set in multi-stage completions without third-party support will be crucial for success in this role. With a minimum of 10-12 years of experience, including at least 5 years in pump-down plug-n-perf operations, you will play a key role in our projects located onshore in India. You will be working with an in-house team and tools, including Hunting Titan addressable control fire switches, Baker-10 Setting Tool, 15K Pressure Control Equipment, explosives from OWEN Oil Tools, Warrior Acquisition System, and Benchmark Measuring Head System. Your experience should include troubleshooting various issues such as plug pre-set before target depth, setting tool malfunctions, wellbore cleaning challenges, and gun firing failures. Your core responsibilities will include conducting thorough pre-job checklists, precise inspections, and implementing corrective actions to ensure flawless job execution. You should be well-versed in the service, operation, and troubleshooting of BST-10 setting tools and capable of handling gun arming, explosive safety, and control fire switching. Additionally, you will be expected to lead on-site crews, prepare procedures and checklists, and share lessons learned for smoother wireline plug-n-perf operations. In this role, you will take full ownership of the job without relying on any service company support. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to lead a team effectively will be essential for the success of our projects.
