Wireless RF Engineer

The team you will be a part of is responsible for platform and software validation for the entire product portfolio, automation framework development, developing and delivering customer documentation and training solutions, ensuring compliance with technical certifications, and providing Level 3 technical assistance for customer escalations. You will work closely with PLM, HW and SW architects, sales, and customer account teams to innovate and develop network deployment strategies for a variety of networking products and software solutions. This role offers you the opportunity to validate, demonstrate, and influence new technologies to shape future optical, routing, fiber broadband, and wireless networks. As a Senior Engineer in Bangalore with 5 to 10 years of experience and an educational background in BE/B. Tech/M. Tech (ECE/Wireless/Mobile/CS) or equivalent, your responsibilities will include: - Interacting with Tejas Support team to provide assistance on reported issues. - Debugging, analyzing, and reproducing field issues in Tejas lab with customer database, and coordinating with product verification (PV)/SW team. - Tracking field bugs/enhancements with PLM (Product Line Managers). - Mentoring team members and providing regular training to field teams. - Ensuring response and resolution timelines are met for field issues as per committed SLA to customers. - Participating in field scenario test cases with PV team. - Implementing automation based on requirements. Skills required for this role include: - Deep working knowledge of Wireless standards. - Extensive hands-on experience in LTE/VoLTE/5G integration, deployment, and troubleshooting. - Strong exposure to improving 4G/5G KPI. - Good debugging skills and eNB/RRH L1/L2/L3 log analysis skills. - Proficiency with TM500 and E500 tools. - Passion for achieving excellence in process, product quality, and reliability. - Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. - Knowledge of RF planning and optimization. - Understanding of TX Media connectivity, RAN, and Core Architecture. - Proficiency in Linux.
