Wireless Network Engineer - L3 Support Location: Chennai Shift: Night Shift Experience: 5+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer to provide L3 escalation support for our client's commercial networking products. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, product testing, and customer issue resolution. Key Responsibilities L3 Technical Support: Handle complex escalations for routers, switches, security appliances, wireless products, and network storage devices Issue Resolution: Replicate and validate customer-reported defects for engineering teams Product Testing: Participate in new product release testing and validation processes Documentation: Review and validate technical documents and knowledge articles Training & Development: Conduct technical training for support staff and partners Field Support: Travel up to 10% for on-site customer support Process Improvement: Analyze customer issues and recommend call avoidance strategies Required Qualifications Technical Skills Certifications: CCNA certified or equivalent networking expertise Networking: Deep understanding of network topologies, design, and implementation Technologies: Expertise in wireless, firewalls, VPN, switches, and network storage Protocols: Advanced knowledge of network and routing protocols Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows and Linux networking applications Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ideal Candidate Profile Passionate about networking technology Customer-focused with problem-solving mindset Ability to work independently and in teams Willingness to work night shifts Ready for occasional travel Apply now to join our dynamic technical support team and advance your career in networking technology!
