• Equipment Operation:Operating the shot blasting machine, including loading and unloading parts, setting parameters (like blast pressure and time), and monitoring the process.
• Surface Preparation:Ensuring the metal parts are cleaned to the required standard (e.g., achieving a specific surface roughness) for optimal adhesion of coatings.
• Abrasive Media Management:Handling and maintaining the abrasive media (e.g., steel shots), including monitoring levels, replenishing as needed, and ensuring media cleanliness.
• Quality Control:Inspecting the blasted parts for defects or inconsistencies, identifying and reporting any quality issues.
• Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance tasks on the machine, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Safety:Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating the equipment.
• Documentation:Maintaining accurate records of blasting parameters, production quantities, and any quality issues.
• Collaboration:Communicating with other team members, including foundry technicians and quality control personnel, to ensure a smooth workflow.
