Description
Windows Server Administration: Design, implement, and manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) in both on-premises and cloud infrastructures. Virtualization Management: Deploy, administer, and maintain virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP). Active Directory & Group Policies: Maintain and support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Management. Patch Management & Security: Manage patching, security updates, and ensure compliance using standard patch management tools. Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. Cisco UCS Administration: Support and administer Cisco UCS B & C class servers, including firmware updates and troubleshooting hardware-related issues. Storage & Backup Solutions: Manage enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, Rubrik), ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP, leveraging best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of critical BFSI applications. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform RCA and incident resolution for server, storage, and backup-related issues. Documentation & SOPs: Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for system administration. Windows Server: Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Virtualization: Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and cloud-based virtualization. Active Directory: Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Certificate Management, and authentication mechanisms. Patch Management: Hands-on experience with patch management and vulnerability remediation. Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible. Cisco UCS: Expertise in managing Cisco UCS B & C class hardware. Storage & Backup Solutions: Strong understanding of enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, Rubrik). Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud migration strategies. Linux Administration: Basic to advanced Linux administration skills for hybrid Windows-Linux environments. Disaster Recovery: Experience in high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Security & Compliance: Knowledge of IT security policies, compliance standards, and BFSI regulatory requirements. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
