Wintel Active Directory Engineer

Mandatory Skills

• Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022)

• Strong expertise in

  Active Directory

  (AD DS, GPO, DNS, DHCP)
• Hands-on experience with

  Servers (Physical & Virtual)

• Strong experience in

  Domain Controller (DC) Operations

  , including:
• FSMO role management
  
• AD replication troubleshooting
  
• DCDiag & Repadmin health checks
  
• Backup & restore of AD
  
• Experience working with

  Microsoft Azure

  (Azure IaaS VMs, Storage, Networking)
• Knowledge of Hybrid AD (On-Prem AD + Azure integration)
  
• PowerShell scripting for automation & administration
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills in authentication (Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP 389/636)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers
  
• Manage and monitor Active Directory infrastructure
  
• Maintain Domain Controllers and replication health
  
• Implement and troubleshoot Group Policies (GPOs)
  
• Manage DNS zones and records
  
• Perform server patching, upgrades, and security hardening
  
• Provision and manage Azure Virtual Machines
  
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
  
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis
  

Good to Have

• Experience with

  VMware

  (vSphere / ESXi)
• Experience with

  Citrix

  (Virtual Apps / VDI)
• Knowledge of Azure AD Connect
  
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
