About the Role

Microsoft Azure Administrator

• Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking, Load Balancers, and App Services.
• Manage

  Azure Active Directory (AAD)

  , user access, roles, and permissions.
• Implement and maintain

  Azure Backup

  ,

  Site Recovery

  , and

  Monitoring solutions

  .
• Configure and manage

  Azure Networking

  VNets, Subnets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, and ExpressRoute.
• Support

  Azure Resource Manager (ARM)

  templates and

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  deployments (Terraform or Bicep).
• Manage

  Cost optimization

  and

  resource utilization

  within Azure subscriptions.
• Maintain

  security and compliance

  posture using Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and related tools.
• Perform

  system updates, patching, and health checks

  on Azure infrastructure.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, and network teams for environment setup and troubleshooting.
• Provide

  documentation

  ,

  , and ensure operational readiness of Azure environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience as an

  Azure Administrator

  or equivalent role.
• Strong understanding of

  Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Identity services

  .
• Experience with

  Azure Portal, PowerShell, CLI, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM)

  .
• Knowledge of

  monitoring tools

  (Log Analytics, Application Insights, etc.).
• Familiar with

  security, governance, and compliance

  in Azure.
• Understanding of

  backup, DR

  , and

  high-availability

  design patterns in cloud.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Azure Administrator Certification (AZ-104)

  .
• Experience with

  Hybrid Environments (on-prem + Azure)

  .
• Familiarity with

  DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

  .
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant Microsoft Certifications preferred (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305).
