Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain
Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
environments.
Manage
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
, and
File/Print Services
.
Monitor server performance, availability, and security using tools like
System Center, Nagios, or SolarWinds
.
Apply system patches, updates, and firmware upgrades regularly.
Perform backup and disaster recovery operations using tools like
Veeam, Commvault, or Windows Backup
.
Maintain server and data center documentation including asset inventory and network topology.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related server issues.
Manage virtualization platforms such as
Hyper-V
or
VMware
.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Collaborate with application and network teams for cross-functional IT support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Windows server administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
Experience with server hardware, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management processes.

Desirable Skills:

Certifications such as
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
,
MCSA
, or
MCSE
.
Experience with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), or Intune.
Familiarity with security hardening and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
