Windows Administrator

We are hiring a skilled Windows Administrator (L2) to join our IT infrastructure team in Fort, Mumbai. This role requires strong technical expertise in managing Windows Servers, Hyper-V clusters, IIS troubleshooting, server provisioning, and patch management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in day-to-day server operations, incident resolution, and proactive system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Perform proactive monitoring of Windows servers using internal BSE tools.


• Track and manage CPU & memory utilization, Windows resources, event logs, and critical services.


• Provide L2 support for incidents owning them till resolution.


• Coordinate with hardware/software vendors and customer teams for incident closure.


• Generate and present monthly reports on server availability and performance.


• Handle Hyper-V Cluster support, IIS basic troubleshooting, and OS reinstallation if required.


• Conduct server provisioning, hardening, and patching.


• Perform backup and restoration during failures or file system corruption.


• Ensure compliance with SLAs and security standards.

Must-Have Skills:-

• Strong experience in Windows Server Administration.


• Expertise in Hyper-V cluster management.


• Hands-on with IIS troubleshooting and server provisioning.


• Solid understanding of server patching, backups, and security hardening.

Education:

• B

  .E./B.Tech/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Telecommunication (Civil/Mechanical not preferred)




• B.Sc. (IT)




• BCA or MCA (Full-time, from reputed university)




• No gap in education

Good-to-Have Skills:-

• Relevant certifications in Windows Server or Microsoft technologies.


• Experience with vendor coordination and ITIL-based incident management.


• Knowledge of enterprise-scale infrastructure support environments.
