Whole School Additional Education Needs Coordinator

As an experienced Whole School AEN Coordinator, your role involves designing and delivering interventions in the classroom, implementing school strategies, and collaborating with staff at all levels. Your responsibilities will include consulting with Key Stage Leads, form tutors, mainstream teachers, parents, Head of AIM, and Principals to develop AEN opportunities across the school. Working collaboratively is essential to embed AEN into teaching and learning, supporting students with additional educational needs effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design and deliver interventions in the classroom - Implement school strategies for AEN development - Collaborate with staff at all levels - Consult with Key Stage Leads, form tutors, mainstream teachers, parents, Head of AIM, and Principals - Embed AEN into teaching and learning - Support the needs of students with additional educational needs - Provide differentiated strategies for teachers - Offer effective assessment and feedback to students and parents - Create individualised learning opportunities - Help students apply concepts through differentiated instruction Qualifications Required: - Qualified SEND teacher with a teaching qualification/degree - Specialization in Special Education, preferably a Master's degree - Experience working with students with learning difficulties - Ability to read and interpret psycho-educational reports - Effective communication with parents and teachers - Minimum 10+ years teaching experience - Minimum 5+ years managing SEND/AEN provision in an international school If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this position, please submit your application and curriculum vitae by clicking on the Apply Now button on this page.,
