Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Draftsman Wet Utilities to support the preparation of design

and construction drawings for water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, and recycled water systems. The

ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drafting principles, utility layout preparation, and basic

civil engineering concepts related to wet infrastructure.

Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and longitudinal sections for wet utility networks including:

Potable water distribution
Sewerage collection
Stormwater drainage systems
Recycled/treated water networks

Draft manhole, chamber, and valve pit details as per design standards.
Develop and update AutoCAD drawings based on design inputs and field survey data.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and layout plans for approvals.
Coordinate with engineering teams to incorporate design changes and resolve drafting issues.
Organize drawing files, maintain version control, and ensure drafting quality and standards.
Use Civil 3D for generating profiles and corridors (training/support can be provided if needed).
Ensure compliance with drafting guidelines as per CPHEEO, ULB norms, and client-specific standards.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D, MicroStation, or GIS tools is an advantage.
Basic understanding of utility design concepts and civil infrastructure layout.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and survey data.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
