Job Description TailorWorks is looking for a highly skilled Western Wear Master Tailor with strong expertise in pattern making, cutting, and stitching . The candidate must have a deep understanding of garment construction, with the ability to create perfect fits and finishes based on pattern designs. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute accurate pattern making for western wear garments (shirts, trousers, dresses, blazers, jackets, jumpsuits, skirts, kidswear, etc.). Ensure garment construction strictly follows the pattern — “ Design will be made as per the pattern ”. Cut and sew garments based on measurement charts, pattern sheets, and design references. Conduct fittings and make necessary alterations to achieve the desired silhouette and fit. Work on a wide range of western wear fabrics including denim, cotton, crepe, georgette, knits, etc. Supervise helper tailors (if required) and ensure timely delivery and finishing. Coordinate closely with the in-house design and production team to align on samples and client orders. Maintain high quality standards in workmanship and finishing. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in western wear tailoring and pattern making. Proven ability to create manual paper patterns with proper sizing, grading, and design flow. Skilled in both male and female western tailoring , including kidswear. Proficiency in working with different types of fabric. Strong finishing and fitting sense. Ability to work independently and manage high-quality output. Knowledge of garment fall, stitch lines, and construction logic is essential. Preferred Qualifications Diploma or certification in tailoring, pattern making, or fashion design. Previous experience in boutique fashion, luxury tailoring, or made-to-measure segments. Knowledge of CAD or digital pattern tools (optional but preferred).
