Job Description

Description

We are looking for an experienced Welding/Steel Erection Supervisor to oversee and manage welding and steel erection projects in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, safety standards, and team leadership. This role is critical in ensuring that all projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate welding and steel erection activities on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all welding and erection processes.
Conduct inspections of welds and assembled structures to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Train and mentor junior welding staff and laborers in best practices and safety protocols.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute welding and erection schedules effectively.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in welding and steel erection supervision.
Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) and familiarity with steel structures.
Strong understanding of welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME).
Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide a diverse workforce.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding and construction environments.
