Description

We are seeking experienced Welding Inspectors to join our quality assurance team in India. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in welding inspection, ensuring that all welding work meets the specified standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections on welding processes and completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications related to welding.
Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing as required.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with welding teams to discuss quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ensure safety regulations and quality standards are followed during the welding process.

Skills and Qualifications

4-6 years of experience in welding inspection or a related field.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent are preferred.
Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.
