Description

The Welding Foreman will oversee welding operations, manage a team of welders, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate welding activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
Manage and train a team of welders, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for welding processes.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure welds meet specifications and standards.
Maintain equipment and manage inventory of welding supplies and materials.
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in welding and fabrication processes.
Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Strong understanding of welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Ability to operate welding machinery and tools safely and effectively.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the welding industry.
