Job Summary: The Welding Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating welding activities on-site or in a workshop environment. This position ensures that all welding work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines. The Welding Foreman will manage the work of welders, provide technical support, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Lead, supervise, and direct a team of welders and welding assistants. Assign tasks to welding personnel and ensure proper completion within deadlines. Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality of welds. Welding Operations: Oversee all welding activities including structural, pipe, and metal welding. Ensure welding processes are followed as per design specifications and standards. Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and training for welding staff. Monitor the workplace for potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken. Ensure proper use of PPE and welding equipment.
