Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Arc, Gas welding, etc.) to join or repair metal components.
Inspect materials, structures, and welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape metal materials as required.
Perform maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members, fabricators, and supervisors to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a welder (certification preferred but not always required).
Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
ITI/Diploma in welding, fabrication, or related field (preferred).

Work Conditions:

Workshop/field environment (may include standing, bending, and lifting).
Use of protective gear such as helmets, gloves, and safety glasses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
