Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding processes relevant to SPM machinery and custom fabrication work. You will be responsible for welding, fitting, and assembling components as per technical drawings and production requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret and understand fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Set up welding equipment and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Fabricate and assemble machine frames, panels, and parts for SPM machines.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and finish quality.
• Collaborate with design and assembly teams to ensure quality and alignment.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
• Strong knowledge of SPM machinery structures and sheet metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
• Attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
• Basic knowledge of grinding and finishing tools
• Willingness to work in a team and meet production deadlines

Preferred Candidate Location:

Candidates from Ambattur, Padi, Avadi, Mogappair, or nearby Chennai industrial zones are highly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
