Welder (CO2)

Job Summary: Co2 Welder - Sheet metal SS 304- 0.8mm thickness

The CO2 Welding Machine Operator is responsible for operating carbon dioxide (CO2) welding machines to join metal components accurately and efficiently. The role requires expertise in welding techniques, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications to produce high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding Operations:
• Operate CO2 welding machines to weld metal parts and structures according to specifications.
• Use Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) with CO2 as a shielding gas for high-quality welding.
• Adjust machine settings, including voltage, wire speed, and gas flow, to ensure optimal welds.
• Measure and inspect workpieces to ensure accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and uniformity.
• Perform basic repairs and rework defective welds as needed.
• Ensure welds meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
• Safety & Maintenance:
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Collaboration & Reporting:
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain production logs and report work progress to supervisors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
