Description
As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) processes. You will need to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions to weld, cut, and join metal parts according to specifications. Additionally, you will be required to set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. It will be your responsibility to inspect and test welded parts to ensure structural soundness and assist in assembling mechanical structures and components. Key Responsibilities: - Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) processes - Read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions - Weld, cut, and join metal parts according to specifications - Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently - Inspect and test welded parts to ensure structural soundness - Assist in assembling mechanical structures and components Qualifications Required: - Experience in welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) processes - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints - Proficiency in setting up and operating welding equipment - Strong attention to detail and quality control As a Turner, your role will involve setting up and operating conventional and CNC lathe machines to manufacture components. You will be required to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications. Your responsibilities will include measuring, marking, and inspecting workpieces to ensure they meet required tolerances, as well as performing turning operations such as facing, threading, boring, drilling, and grooving.
