Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain custom websites and online stores using various platforms such as WordPress, PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Woo Commerce, and Shopify. Your focus will be on ensuring that these websites and online stores perform optimally, are highly functional, and provide an excellent user experience. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites using WordPress, Laravel, and CodeIgniter. You will also be involved in building and managing E-commerce platforms through Woo Commerce and Shopify. Customizing themes, plugins, and extensions to align with business requirements, optimizing websites for speed, performance, and SEO, as well as troubleshooting and debugging existing code and features will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you must possess a strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience in WordPress theme/plugin development, proficiency in Woo Commerce and Shopify setup/customization, a solid understanding of Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks, and familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design are essential. Additionally, experience with Git/version control is crucial for effective collaboration and code management. It would be beneficial to have knowledge of REST APIs and Webhooks, basic SEO and performance optimization skills, and Shopify Liquid templating experience to enhance your capabilities further.
