Web Solutions Engineer, Tools Automation and Infrastructure

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and improving elegant, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools. This includes ensuring reliable backends, building pipelines to aggregate data from multiple sources, implementing responsive and UX-rich front-ends, and enhancing the performance of existing tools and services. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying dependencies, resolving issues, and driving successful implementation. Your technical contributions will involve writing and reviewing design documents, tests, and code in languages such as JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, and SQL. Your expertise in Google's relevant technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards will be essential in providing effective solutions to business challenges. Collaboration with cross-functional users and stakeholders will also be a key aspect of your role. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development. - 2 years of experience in full-stack software development. - Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript). - Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++). - Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). - 2 years of experience designing and optimizing databases. - Experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems. - Ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a dynamic environment and to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently. - Ability to provide effective technical solutions to business challenges.,
