As a Web Solutions Engineer at Google, you will utilize your technical expertise and design capabilities to analyze problems, offer sophisticated and scalable solutions, and identify and address dependencies. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders globally and across various functions to pinpoint pain points and devise innovative technical resolutions. Your role will involve developing software that facilitates business insights and scales business solutions. Customers across over 200 countries and territories rely on Google Cloud to drive growth and solve their most pressing business challenges. **Responsibilities:** - Design and develop applications or tooling for Cloud Support. - Write and review detailed technical design documents. - Monitor and enhance the performance of applications and services. - Collaborate with Technical leads to construct reliable and scalable features. - Advocate for customer and agent needs by understanding their issues and working with cross-functional teams. - Engage in engineering design discussions and code reviews with the team. - Manage individual tasks/features priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. - Effectively apply AI tools in your workflow and internal solutions. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in software development. - Proficiency in programming with at least one of the following: Java, Python, GoLang, or TypeScript/JavaScript. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience using test frameworks, CRMs, Billing systems, machine learning, data analysis, and data science. - Familiarity with unit testing, agile project development, bug and change management systems. - Knowledge of application-level data storage, retrieval, and analysis tools like SQL, NoSQL, logs analysis, protocol buffers, and MapReduce. - Ability to manage software development projects, prioritize tasks, and a commitment to engineering excellence. - Capability to work across the stack: front-end, back-end, and integrations. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.,
