As a Web Scraper at our Pune office, you will undertake the full-time responsibility of extracting, transforming, and loading data from various websites and online sources. Your primary role will involve developing robust web scraping scripts using Python and relevant libraries to ensure data quality and accuracy for our B2B marketing and sales solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to support data-driven decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining efficient web scraping scripts, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, implementing data quality assurance measures, collaborating with internal teams for requirements gathering, troubleshooting scraper performance, and staying updated with industry trends in web scraping technologies. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in web scraping. Strong proficiency in Python, experience with core web scraping libraries such as Beautiful Soup and Scrapy, and knowledge of web automation tools like Selenium will be essential. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a basic understanding of data security and ethical considerations related to web scraping.
