Web QA/ Automation tester

As a Manual and Automation Test Engineer with over 5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications, particularly in the Financial domain with working knowledge of Core Banking Applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Gathering and maintaining business requirements for new enhancements and change requests to ensure that the software meets the desired functionality. - Creating and executing manual and automated tests for feature enhancements on both Web applications and Mobile apps. - Testing the Mobile App on iOS and Android platforms to guarantee a seamless user experience. - Performing function and regression testing for both Web and Mobile applications to identify and rectify any issues. - Writing SQL queries to validate end-to-end testing scenarios and ensure data integrity. - Conducting Web/Mobile App security and performance testing, with a focus on enhancing the overall quality of the applications. - Developing test plans/scenarios, prioritizing test cases, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage to meet release deadlines. - Designing effective test cases that are maintainable, resilient, performant, and scalable to optimize testing processes. - Creating and executing automated tests using test automation tools to streamline testing procedures. - Reviewing and reproducing reported defects, documenting clear replication steps for efficient bug resolution. - Identifying and analyzing the root cause of complex bugs to enhance the overall quality of the software. - Communicating QA plans and issues effectively in both oral and written forms to ensure clear understanding and collaboration. - Utilizing test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Jasmine, etc., to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. - Demonstrating proficiency in technologies like Cypress with Typescript, Selenium WebDriver automation with Java, Python, or other object-oriented languages to enhance testing capabilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Mobile app testing tools, writing SQL queries, and Web/Mobile App security. - Previous experience in Financial domain and Core Banking Applications is preferred.
