Job Description

About the Role:

WebDriver (Selenium) Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
automated test scripts
using
Selenium WebDriver
.
Develop and execute
regression, functional, and integration test cases
for web applications.
Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to identify and automate high-priority test scenarios.
Build, configure, and maintain
automation frameworks
(e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Cucumber).
Participate in
test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions
.
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Identify, log, and track
defects
, working closely with the development team for resolution.
Generate detailed
test reports and metrics
to communicate testing outcomes.
Ensure automation scripts are
reusable, maintainable, and scalable
.
Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
Stay up to date with the
latest tools, technologies, and best practices
in test automation.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with
cloud-based testing platforms
(BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).
Knowledge of
performance and load testing tools
(JMeter, LoadRunner).
Familiarity with
Docker / Kubernetes
for test environment setup.
Exposure to
database testing
(SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
