Web Developer (WordPress)

We are hiring a WordPress Web Developer to build, maintain, and optimise our websites and landing pages. You will handle themes, plugins, speed, SEO, security, and integrations (Zoho, analytics, forms).

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Build new pages/sites using custom themes/child themes, Gutenberg/Elementor, CPT + ACF.

• 
  Customise/extend plugins; write clean PHP/MySQL/JS/HTML/CSS code.

• 
  Improve Core Web Vitals (LCP/CLS/INP), caching, image optimisation, CDN (Cloudflare).

• 
  Manage on-page SEO (meta, schema, redirects, sitemaps) and basic content formatting.

• 
  Set up tracking: GA4 events, conversions, Zoho SalesIQ/Forms; experience with Cloudflare Zaraz is a plus.

• 
  Ensure security & reliability: updates, backups, hardening, staging production deployments.

• 
  Handle site migrations, DNS, SSL, hosting panels; basic Linux/CLI helpful.

• 
  Create clear documentation and support internal teams with quick fixes.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–5 years as a WordPress Developer.

• 
  Tech Skills: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3; Gutenberg/Elementor, CPT/ACF, REST API.

• 
  Performance & SEO: Hands-on with Core Web Vitals, caching (LiteSpeed/WP Rocket), schema/SEO basics.

• 
  Tooling: Git, WP-CLI, npm/composer; familiarity with Figma to dev handoff.

• 
  Nice to Have: WooCommerce, CF Zaraz/Tag Manager, RankMath/Yoast, Tailwind/Bootstrap, basic Docker.

• 
  Soft Skills: Eye for clean UI, attention to detail, fast execution, clear communication.
