The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, customising, and maintaining websites and eCommerce stores, ensuring a seamless user experience and high-quality performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain websites on Shopify and WordPress platforms. Create and modify themes, templates, and plugins to meet project requirements. Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Troubleshoot technical issues, perform regular updates, and ensure website security. Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to deliver user-friendly and visually appealing websites. Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in web development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Web Developer with expertise in Shopify and WordPress. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language). Experience with PHP and WordPress theme/plugin development. Familiarity with Shopify APIs, custom app development, and integrations. Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimisation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
