Web Developer Intern

As a Shopify Website Development Intern at Delan, a premium womens western clothing brand, you will have the opportunity to contribute to website optimization, performance enhancement, and user experience improvements over a 3-month unpaid internship period. Delan aims to deliver modern, comfortable, and fashion-forward clothing that empowers Indian women to express their individuality with confidence. During this internship, you will learn how to maintain and update Shopify themes using Liquid, implement basic UI/UX changes with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and gain an understanding of basic API integrations and data handling. You will also have the chance to explore Core Web Vitals, site speed optimization, and collaborate with the team using Git and project management tools. The ideal candidate for this role should have a basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with familiarity with website structure and how Shopify works (expert level not required). You should be willing to learn Liquid and Shopify development during the internship and have a curiosity about debugging, API basics, and website performance. Throughout this internship, you will have the opportunity to work with Shopify Admin Panel & Shopify CLI, VS Code for development, GitHub / GitLab for version control, Google PageSpeed Insights / GTmetrix for speed insights, Figma for design references, and Trello / Notion for project management. You will receive hands-on guidance from experienced team members and gain exposure to industry-standard tools & workflows. Upon successful completion of the internship, you will receive an internship certificate & experience letter.
