About The Role
The Web Developer at Loch Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and landing pages essential for both operational and marketing activities. This position demands a strong technical skill set, disciplined development practices, and the ability to translate business and creative requirements into secure, responsive, and high-performing web assets. The role involves close collaboration with the Brand Manager, Performance Marketing team, and IT support to ensure all web properties adhere to performance, tracking, and compliance standards. The Web Developer will be instrumental in enhancing user experience, ensuring website security, and supporting digital marketing initiatives to drive organizational growth.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of three to five years of experience in web development, UI development, or full-stack roles is required. Experience working collaboratively with marketing or design teams is considered an advantage, as it enhances the candidate's ability to align technical solutions with creative and business objectives. Proficiency in modern web development frameworks, CMS platforms, and tracking tools is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize websites and landing pages on platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or custom frameworks, ensuring they meet organizational standards.
- Implement responsive, mobile-first designs aligned with approved UX and brand guidelines to enhance user engagement across devices.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code, utilizing version control systems like Git to facilitate collaboration and code management.
- Set up and manage tracking integrations, including GA4, Tag Manager, pixels, conversion APIs, and custom events, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Brand and Marketing teams to ensure content, creative direction, and user experience are aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular site performance audits, implementing improvements to enhance page speed, SEO foundations, and accessibility compliance.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs, perform troubleshooting, and deploy timely fixes and updates to maintain website integrity.
- Maintain staging environments, testing workflows, backups, and structured deployment protocols to ensure smooth updates and releases.
- Support integrations for CRM forms, payment gateways, APIs, and custom plugins to facilitate seamless user interactions and transactions.
- Implement security best practices, perform routine updates, and monitor web properties to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
- Document coding standards, workflows, and maintenance routines to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency across the team.
