Web Builder Remote

The Web Builder is responsible for the end-to-end development and timeline management of attendee registration websites. This role requires proficiency in creative problem-solving, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of optimal UI/UX workflows.

As a Web Builder, you will

• Be responsible for end-to-end build and timeline management of attendee registration websites per Client and BCD standards meeting if not exceeding Client SLAs
• Have a detailed understanding of Client’s needs and objectives for registration experience and information collection
• Ensure optimum customer service capability through effective development of web registration forms. You will consult on opportunities to enhance the registrant’s experience to be more positive and seamless
• Ensure all web builds follow Client’s brand standards and guidelines
• Be accountable for web page development using internal Web Server Applications, HTML and CSS
• Obtain necessary approval from Generalist role/Client regarding changes and final approval
• Generate tests to verify all pertinent data captured appropriately
• Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of Client program/event and keep abreast of all changes
• Partner with travel to set up group air interface
• Update revised room blocks accordingly in registration database
• Advise supervisor of changes in technology, enhancements and opportunities to improve service deliverables
• Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, as requested

About you

• Previous experience in web technology in a business environment
• You have several years of experience in web building through Cvent or other events management software
• Ability to be flexible, consultative, and an independent thinker understanding that SOPs are important, but creative solutions are important as well
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear and effective communication 
• You work well under time pressures and changing deadlines and requests 
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, MacOS, iOS, and JavaScript
