Web Developer Drupal UI & Digital Experience Integration

Role Overview: As a Drupal UI Developer, you will be responsible for contributing directly to the Drupal UI codebase. Your role will involve developing and maintaining frontend components and templates in Drupal using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Twig. You will also be implementing Figma-based UI layouts and responsive behaviors within the Drupal CMS, as well as styling and embedding external platform components to ensure visual and functional alignment. Your responsibilities will include supporting entitlement-based UI logic, collaborating with backend/integration teams, performing QA, and contributing to Drupal's UI consistency. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain frontend components and templates in Drupal using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Twig - Implement Figma-based UI layouts and responsive behaviors within the Drupal CMS - Style and embed external platform components (e.g., via iframes, JS integrations), ensuring visual and functional alignment - Support entitlement-based UI logic (e.g., show/hide sections based on roles, access flags, or metadata) - Collaborate with backend/integration teams to render structured data and profile attributes in frontend templates - Perform QA and refinement of embedded platform behavior across breakpoints, browsers, and access levels - Debug styling issues involving embedded content (e.g., CSS isolation, iframe constraints, token-based content rendering) - Contribute to Drupal's UI consistency and component library Qualifications: Required: - 7+ years of frontend development experience with Drupal 9/10 - Proficient in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and Twig templating - Experience working with embedded or third-party content styling (iframes, remote components, JS-based embeds) - Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and mobile-first best practices - Ability to translate structured content (DITA, markdown) or API outputs into dynamic frontend elements - Understanding of multilingual support, metadata filtering, and search result theming in frontend displays - Exposure to cross-platform styling challenges (e.g., styling embedded documentation, training, or community platforms) - Strong troubleshooting skills related to cross-platform layout and behavioral consistency - Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with UX designers and integration developers Preferred: - Experience implementing entitlement-based display logic (e.g., roles, access groups, personalization tokens) - Familiarity with integration QA workflows and visual regression testing - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities,
