Job Title: Innovation Engineer - Web 3 Innovation Lab

Role Description:

Innovation Engineer - Web 3 Innovation Lab plays a pivotal role in handling the lab's strategic vision and operational excellence, fostering a culture of innovation and "learning by doing" among students. This individual is responsible for the lab's success in bridging the gap between academia and industry. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Vision and Strategy:

• Nurture and communicate a clear vision for the Innovation Labs, aligning with the institution's strategic objectives.

• Ensure the lab's activities contribute to the broader academic and research missions of the institution.

• Innovation Lab - Industry Interface:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, facilitating collaborations that enhance the lab's research and innovation projects.

• Serve as a key liaison between the lab and academic departments, promoting interdisciplinary industry relevant research and learning opportunities.

• Brand Ambassador 

• Act as a brand ambassador, representing the Innovation Labs at conferences, seminars, and public forums.

• Promote the lab's achievements and projects through various channels, enhancing its reputation and visibility.

• Foster a network of alumni, industry leaders, and academic peers to support and engage with the lab's work.

• Mentorship and Role Modeling:

• Serve as a mentor and role model for students , inspiring them to pursue innovation and excellence.

• Support a learning environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and personal growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent experience in innovation management.

• Deep technical expertise in multiple blockchain platforms, smart contracts, DeFi & dApps, Web 3 libraries/frameworks and cryptography. Should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the benefits decentralization.

• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, capable of engaging a wide range of audiences.

• Deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in areas relevant to the lab's focus..
