Job Description

Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure

Configure, and perform basic troubleshooting of enterprise-level routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VRF, VLAN, RSTP, LACP, SVL/Stacking).
Manage WAN technologies (MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN) and Layer 2/3 networks.
Configure and maintain Catalyst and Nexus switches for data center and enterprise environments.
Perform IOS/AOS-CX/NX-OS software upgrade of Cisco Catalyst, Aruba and Nexus switches.

Firewall Administration

Configure and manage Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls.
Implement firewall rules, IPS/IDS, and VPN configurations and manage security logs using management software packages such as Palo Alto Panaroma, FortiManager and/or FortiAnalyzer.
Monitor firewall performance and maintain clean policy configuration.

Wireless Solutions

Deploy and maintain Wireless networks using Cisco WLCs, Meraki Dashboard and access-points (Must have).
Configure Cisco ISE/Aruba CPPM for secure network access control (NAC).

Troubleshooting

Acknowledge, investigate and escalate network and security issues (Level 2 support) in a timely manner.
Document root cause analysis reports for incident analysis and support implementation of preventive measures.

Documentation

Update network documentation (e.g., diagrams, policies, IP schema, etc.).
Configure and monitor automated device configuration backups.
Update complete IP address inventory using IPAM.
Validate EoL/EoS details along with active hardware support contracts
