About the client: One of the leading Indian Multinational Conglomerate (Manufacturing B2B) headquartered in Hyderabad.

Job Purpose

This position will be responsible for all aspects to lead the water utility packages of the Integrated PV Plant (Ingot, wafering, cell, module and glass) with complete End to End utility project execution, installation, commissioning and taking over the utility operations and maintenance subsequently. He needs to coordinate with Licensor/ EPC supplier/ Consultant/ Engineering team / Equipment Vendor / Raw materials vendor and lead the complete utility team for timely completion of the projects, installation and commissioning. Subsequent to Projects completion, the incumbent will assume the position as part of O&M team for Integrated PV Manufacturing Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client, relevant stakeholders & third parties/vendors
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
• Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Technical Requirements

• Experience in both Project execution as well as O&M for WTP/STP/RO/DI/UPW/Desalination plants. Engineering experience would be highly desirable.
• Operate and monitor WTP/STP/ETP/RO/UF/Desalination plants as per standard operating procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Monitor water/wastewater quality parameters and ensure treated water meets statutory norms.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operation reports.
• Attend to breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper usage and stock of consumables, spares, and chemicals.
• Maintain logs of energy consumption, chemical dosing, and plant performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth plant operations.
• Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with health & environmental regulations.
• Support manpower management, training, and shift scheduling.
• Meet with clients/contractors regarding projects under contract
• Work with marketing/sales to develop accurate project bids/proposal
• Specify/Purchase pumps, blowers, valves, fittings, etc. for projects
• Work with design/engineering to develop production sub-assemblies and project specific shop drawings.

Delivery Management

• Ensure seamless delivery of the projects
• Deploy optimum project delivery structure post transition/ migration phase by evaluating the budget, costs, risks and staffing requirement
• Create quarterly project charter with well-defined weekly project trajectory as per the project specifications & requirements and ensure 100% adherence in terms of schedule, quality, efforts and costs

Educational qualifications and experience

• B.E / B.Tech Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation
• 15-20 Years hard-core Utility experience in semiconductor, Chemical, Petrol-chemicals, polysilicon/solar cell/Ingot-wafer/fumed silica manufacturing, silane-based product manufacturing, etc
