Water Specialist

As a Water Specialist, with 10-15 years of experience and a qualification in BE/ B Tech, your role will involve leading and managing water-related projects for new greenfield sites in Bangalore. You will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of water treatment plants (WTP) and effluent treatment plants (ETP) and ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing advanced water management technologies such as Mechanical Evaporation (MEE) and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems. You will play a key role in defining, monitoring, and analyzing water quality parameters required for brewery operations, ensuring that water meets the necessary quality standards for brewing processes. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will optimize the design for water recovery and reuse while focusing on parameters like water quality, hardness, pH levels, and other necessary aspects. Efficient water use, reuse, and treatment systems will be essential for sustainable brewery operations. Your cross-functional coordination skills will be put to use as you work closely with internal teams (including Engineering, Procurement, and Operations) to ensure project alignment and seamless execution. Your role will also involve procurement activities, such as preparing RFQs for water and effluent treatment equipment and services, reviewing technical proposals from suppliers, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and sustainability goals. Adhering to local and international regulations regarding water usage, effluent treatment, and environmental sustainability will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will prepare reports on water usage, treatment processes, and sustainability metrics, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date documentation. Your focus on water sustainability practices will drive the reduction of environmental footprint and improvement of resource efficiency across all greenfield projects, with an emphasis on Net Zero carbon and renewable energy sources. Conducting training sessions and workshops for teams involved in water management practices will be essential to ensure a high level of knowledge and awareness of sustainability goals. Sharing best practices and lessons learned with internal teams will be key to continuously improving water management processes and fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization.,
