Role & responsibilities

Title:- Warehouse Supervisor

Qualification:- Diploma/ Any UG Degree

Experience :- 2 to 5 Yr.

WAREHOSUE OPERATIONS:-

• Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials, while ensuring efficient coordination amongst the staff.
• Created and Implemented Inventory Management System for Self-life material and other Raw materials based on Consumption.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software to track and manage inventory, shipments, and productivity metrics
• Planning of raw material, packing material based on production requirement and Co-ordination with production team to ensure all issuance and consumable stock booked on time in ERP.
• Ensuring effective material handling through proper stacking and picking to enable smooth and timely material movement.
• Responsible for sustaining TAT, FIFO & JIT as per requirement of Production.
• Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's head
• Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Preparation and communication with Finance / Procurement to ensuring availability of material on time.,
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping etc.,
• Shipments - delivery challans, good receipt note, stock transfer invoicing etc. to be maintained
• Fixed asset tracking, verification, and report on timely reporting.
• Maximizing space usage within the warehouse/Store

SAFETY:-

• Ensuring all employees adhere to established safety policies and procedures
• Regularly inspecting the warehouse to identify potential hazards like spills, obstructions, or improper storage of materials.
• Developing and implementing safety programs, such as proper lifting techniques, handling of hazardous materials, and emergency response procedures.
• Conducting training sessions for warehouse staff on topics like equipment operation, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.
• Evaluating potential risks in the warehouse environment and recommending solutions to mitigate them.
• Encouraging a proactive approach to safety among all warehouse personnel.
