Essential Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor (iv) Good academic record as define by the concerned University with at least 55% of the marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically & Visually handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point wherever grading system is followed at Master's degree level i.e. Masters in Computer Science/lnformation Technology and related area from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. (v) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/ CSIR. (vi) The candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universitiees/Colleges/Institutions. Desirable Ph.D. degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and related area with at least two-years of research experience or teaching experience of post-graduate classes in the field of respective subject with relevant publication/s in peer reviewed journals. The above assignment is on lecture basis with a token of honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month. The candidate shall have to undertake that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or any financial assistance from any agency and will do the same till they are teaching in Centre for Systems Biology & Bioinformatics as a Guest Faculty.
