Job Description

Job Overview:The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages to customers, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The role involves effective communication with kitchen staff and customers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of service. Key Responsibilities:Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and seat them at tables. Present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and provide recommendations. Take customer orders and relay them to kitchen staff in a timely manner. Ensure that customers’ needs are met and address any concerns or issues promptly. Provide exceptional service in a friendly and professional manner. Order Management: Accurately record customer orders in the point-of-sale (POS) system. Ensure orders are served accurately and according to customer specifications. Serve food and drinks promptly to the correct table. Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take any additional orders.
