Take on a new challenge and apply your **embedded software testing and validation** expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside a **highly motivated and collaborative** team of professionals who are passionate about innovation and quality.You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our software modules that drive critical systems. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business, including software architects, hardware designers, and RAMS departments, to develop and validate software modules, mentor team members, and contribute to process improvements.Youll specifically take care of designing and executing software module integration tests, preparing requirement-based test cases, and peer reviewing deliverables, but also guide newcomers and support the lead engineer in achieving quality, cost, and delivery goals.Well look to you for:
Testing and validating software modules as per their Safety Integrity Levels (SIL)
Applying software processes and standards, such as CMMI and model-based development
Collaborating with software architects to refine specifications and architecture
Preparing and performing software verification and validation (V&V) deliverables
Identifying and resolving testing issues while adhering to configuration management practices
Providing mentorship and constructive feedback to team members
Conducting functional and integration testing of software modules
Supporting peer reviews and guiding the team to achieve quality objectives

Bachelors/Postgraduate degree in Engineering IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent
46 years of experience in embedded software testing
Proven ability to test software modules as per SIL levels
Knowledge of testing techniques like black-box, white-box, equivalence class, and boundary value analysis
Experience with tools like VectorCast, RTRT, and static analysis tools (e.g., QAC, Pclint)
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, ADA, and scripting languages like Python
Familiarity with RTOS environments (Linux, VX Works, QNX) and protocols (TCP/IP, CAN)
Knowledge of software design methodologies (SADT, OOPS) and modeling techniques (UML, SysML, MATLAB)
Understanding of domain-specific standards like CENELEC SIL4, DO178A/B
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and influence others
Experience in source code walkthroughs, code coverage, and regression analysis
Patience and attention to detail for repetitive testing tasks
