VP - Lead API Engineer

As the Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst, your role involves establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions, identify necessary system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements - Resolve high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and system processes - Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming, ensuring application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint - Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow to develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards - Develop comprehensive knowledge of how different business areas integrate to achieve business goals - Offer in-depth analysis to define issues and innovative solutions - Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary - Assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and compliance with laws and regulations Qualifications: - 8-12 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role - Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects - Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development - Ability to adjust priorities quickly - Demonstrated leadership and project management skills - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Masters degree preferred Additional Details: You should have a sound understanding of API development, API Gateway, Event-driven architecture, basic knowledge of EDB & No-SQL.
