Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, performance, stability, and connectivity testing on mobile chipsets and compute platforms.
• Develop, execute, and automate test cases and test frameworks for hardware, firmware, drivers, and system-level components.
• Validate system functionality across AP (Application Processor), peripherals, multimedia, connectivity modules, and power subsystems.
• Debug issues using logs, traces, and tools, and work closely with development teams to drive resolutions.
• Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports, ensuring complete traceability and coverage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation, and validation methodologies.

• Application Processor Testing
• Linux / Core Platform Testing
• Peripherals Testing (USB, sensors, storage, etc.)
• Multimedia Testing Audio, Video, Display, Camera
• Connectivity Testing WLAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, Coexistence
• Power, Performance & Stability Testing
• Secure System Testing, DSP/CV (Computer Vision) Tests, Kernel-Level Testing
• Telephony/IMS, XTS Suite
  

Skills & Experience

• 26 years of experience in semiconductor, mobile device, or embedded system testing.
• Strong understanding of debugging, validation methodologies, and system-level testing.
• Hands-on experience with test tools, automation frameworks, log analysis, and reporting.
• Exposure to Qualcomm, Samsung, Mediatek, Broadcom chipsets and associated tools is a strong advantage.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Android/Linux internals, HAL, and driver-level validation.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience working in fast-paced silicon, mobile/compute, or embedded product development environments
