Role Overview: Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their Multimedia Audio Systems Group to work on optimizing Voice AI power for various models. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of a team analyzing, measuring, and optimizing power for models such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS), Multilingual Translation, and more. You will also be responsible for performing competitive analysis, supporting system design, and collaborating with R&D and Systems teams for system-level analysis and commercialization support. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, measure, and optimize Voice AI power for various models - Perform competitive analysis of Voice AI models power with multiple open source models - Support system design for optimized power on different form factors including Mobile, XR, Compute, and IoT - Collaborate with R&D and Systems team for system level power analysis and commercialization support Qualifications Required: - Strong programming skills in C/C++ - Strong fundamentals of power modeling and power analysis - Experience working on system-level power analysis and measurements - Knowledge of ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX - Knowledge of ML architectures and operators like Transformers, LSTM, GRUs - Experience working on power measurement setups and modeling tools - Expertise in developing and debugging software on embedded platforms - Knowledge of model quantization and compression techniques is a plus - Knowledge of fixed-point coding - Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and basic algorithms - Experience working on any AI hardware accelerator NPU or GPU is a plus - Experience with processor workload analysis, MIPS, and memory optimization is a plus Company Details: Qualcomm is a company of inventors focused on unlocking AI on Edge to accelerate connectivity and transform industries.
